Malik Jamal (SACC Chairman) is the Senior Business Manager at NRG.  Malik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Houston and an MBA from Rice University. He has worked in the retail energy industry for over 15 years.  Currently he is working with the Discount Power and Cirro Energy brands for NRG.  Previously, he has worked for Tara Energy and Just Energy (after it acquired Tara Energy in 2011) and marketed its multiple brands across North America. He has prior experience in customer service and call center management. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for Nizari Progressive Federal Credit Union.
